Bun Buds was transforming into something bigger and Jake needed help to elevate the brand. We grabbed dinner one night and talked for hours about his vision for the restaurant, what value I could bring to the table and what we’ll collaboratively serve up together when all is said and done.
From the beginning, Bun Buds had (2) characters they used consistently and wanted to keep in the mix. I was happy to oblige because these little dudes were doing work for the brand and it was refreshing to see vs. most of today’s traditional branding. We worked around them, revamped some of the details and created a fresh new logo with typefaces and color schemes to boot.
I’m proud to be apart of this journey with Jake and the Bun Buds crew and I can’t thank Jake enough for letting me run wild with creative freedom.

Savanna contacted me after finding out I had experience with signage and briefed me on Indigo Hair Studio’s situation. They were moving and needed signage for their new location. After surveying the building, I mocked up a few options to see what was possible. We agreed glass graphics were optimal for labeling the building because they would allow us to produce something quickly.
We also ran a comb through the logo and added new typefaces before production to improve the end results.
